The following pictures were taken on Wednesday, May 19th during yet another trip on the infamous Cliff Walk. This time I kept my eye out for cool looking of animals and plants and stuff. Here's some of what saw through the lens of my digital camera (thanks Mom and Dad!)
Down Came a Spider...+

Well, you've probably heard about Australia's abundance of snakes and spiders on Wild Kingdom, but this was the first spider I've seen since I've been here. Most of the really hairy and scary ones live in the Outback. I'll be heading after pictures of those in a few weeks...
Bird Brain+

One of the first things that I noticed that made Australia feel different (aside from the 31 hour flight-induced jet lag and everyone calling everyone "mate", was all of the different types of birds. This is just one of them.
Flower Power+

I spotted this flower from about 50 meters (uh, 56 yards, sorry). Anyway, it was the brightest flower I think I've ever seen. My camera thought so, too.
Gone Fishing+

This fishing wharf is located at Gordon's Bay. There are a handfull of fishermen that seem to head out fishing from here every morning - you can kind of make them out to the left of the yellow shack.
"Honeycomb's Big, Yeah Yeah Yeah"+

Not only doeas Australia have different birds, but different flower-pricky-thing's too. This flower-pricky-thing blooms on tree's all over the city and honeybee's, obviously unimpressed by the flower's thistles, dig around looking for the nectar.
Flock of Seagulls+

This shot is a far away shot of Bondi Beach - big whoop. What's cool is that you can make out four seagulls that were flying by just as I snapped the picture. Sweet, huh?
